All sheets are 22 inches wide. DTF is $0.75 per inch of length; UV DTF is $2.00 per inch. The cost per square inch does not change with length, so the only reason to buy a longer sheet is that your designs fill it.

Counts assume a 0.25-inch gap between designs, no bleed, and the orientation (upright or rotated 90°) that fits more copies. Cost per design is the DTF sheet price divided by the count. For UV DTF multiply the cost per design by 2.67 (the $2.00 ÷ $0.75 ratio).

Mixed sizes change the count. The builder places designs where they fit, so a sheet that mixes 10 × 12 in front prints with 3 × 3 in left-chest logos usually ends up tighter than either row above because the small logos fill the leftover strips.
Worked example: 24 shirts with a front print and a left-chest logo
- Front print 10 × 12 in: 8 fit on a 22 × 60 in sheet (2 across, 4 down with 0.25-inch gaps). For 24 fronts you need two sheets or one 22 × 120 in sheet (18 fit).
- Left-chest logo 3 × 3 in: 24 logos need 4 rows of 6 across, which is 4 × 3.25 = 13 inches of length.
- Combine them on one 22 × 132 in sheet (120 for the fronts, 12 to 13 for the logos): 132 × $0.75 = $99.00. That is $4.13 per shirt for both transfers. Shipping is free at $120 or more, so at $99 this order pays shipping unless you add another small job to the cart.
- Press at 315–325°F for 6–12 seconds and hot peel. The transfers arrive the next business day in most of New York, New Jersey and New England when you order by 2 PM ET.

How do I calculate how many designs fit on a gang sheet?
Divide the sheet width plus one gap by the design width plus one gap, round down, and do the same for the length. With a 0.25-inch gap, a 4 × 4 in design fits 5 across a 22-inch sheet and 5 down a 24-inch length, so 25 per 22 × 24 sheet. Try the design rotated as well; the table on this page already uses whichever orientation fits more.
Is a longer gang sheet cheaper per design?
Only slightly, and only because of the gap math. The price per square inch is the same at every length. A longer sheet wastes less at the end of the roll, so the cost per design drops a few percent. Order the length you can actually fill.
What is the cheapest way to order one design?
For a single piece, DTF Transfers by Size charges about 4¢ per square inch for the exact rectangle, so a 4 × 4 in transfer is about $0.64. For 10 or more pieces of mixed designs a gang sheet is simpler and uses the space better.

How much spacing should I leave between designs?
About 0.25 inch (6 mm) so each transfer can be cut apart cleanly without clipping a neighbor. The fit counts on this page use 0.25 inch. If your cutter needs more room, use 0.5 inch and expect roughly 10 to 15 percent fewer designs per sheet.
