Plan by occasion
| Occasion | Typical timing | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| St. Patrick's Day groups in Savannah | March | A DTF gang sheet with group names and the year |
| Spring festivals and vendor booths | April–June | Transfers by size for small runs |
| Family reunions and church homecomings | June–August | One gang sheet holding each family branch's design |
| Friday night football and band | August–November | Names and numbers by size; spirit designs on a gang sheet |
| Homecoming and alumni tailgates | October–November | Class-year designs; embroidered hats |
| Pastor appreciation | October | Custom apparel and drinkware gifts |
| Holiday markets and family shirts | November–December | Ready-made designs in the Holiday Shop |
With typical 2–4 day transit, ordering transfers 7–10 days before an event leaves room to press, fold and hand out.
Popular uses in Georgia
Homecoming, reunions and alumni weekends
Fall homecomings at Georgia's colleges and HBCUs bring class-reunion shirts, tailgate crew tees and "Class of" designs by the dozen. DTF prints every color in the artwork in one pass, so a full-color class photo or detailed crest costs the same per inch as a one-color logo. Print only artwork you own or have permission to use; school and organization logos are usually trademarked.
Churches and ministries
Church anniversaries, women's and men's day programs, choir shirts, youth retreats and pastor appreciation in October are steady print occasions across the state. A gang sheet lets a ministry print the main design plus smaller sleeve or pocket prints on the same order.
Film and TV crews
Georgia is one of the busiest film production states in the country, and productions often want crew shirts, wrap gifts and hats on short notice. Transfers ordered by 2 PM ET ship the same day, and embroidered caps ship in 5–7 business days for a finished, stitched look.
Salons, barbershops, restaurants and beauty brands
Staff tees are a straightforward DTF job. UV DTF decals brand hard-surface products like glass jars, hard plastic containers, mirrors and tumblers. They're peel-and-stick at $2.00 per inch, with no heat press.
Beach and mountain towns
Gift shops on Tybee and St. Simons, and apple-season stores in the North Georgia mountains, can test new designs without minimums and reorder what sells.
