Who orders DTF transfers in Newark and Jersey City
Streetwear brands and online sellers
Newark and Jersey City have a deep bench of independent apparel brands selling through Instagram, pop-ups and local shops. A gang sheet holds a full drop of designs in one order, so you can print a small run, see what sells, and reorder by 2 PM ET for a restock within a day or two. DTF Transfers by Size handles a single design in set quantities.
Screen printers and embroidery shops
Decorators across Essex, Hudson and Union counties send us full-color art, short runs and single reorders that are not worth a screen setup. Gang several clients' jobs in the DTF Gang Sheet Builder or send your own layout via Upload DTF Gang Sheet, then press on your own equipment. Steady monthly volume? Email info@dtfsirius.com.
Schools, charter schools and youth sports
Spirit wear for Newark and Jersey City public and charter schools, parochial schools, Pop Warner, little league, AAU basketball and travel soccer: rosters with names and numbers go on one 22-inch-wide sheet, and DTF presses on cotton tees and polyester jerseys from the same order. Send only artwork your school or league is licensed to use.
Universities and student organizations
Clubs, Greek life and orientation teams at Rutgers-Newark, NJIT, Seton Hall, Saint Peter's, New Jersey City University and Stevens order small mixed runs with little lead time.
Restaurants, bars, cafes and breweries
Ironbound restaurants, Jersey City and Hoboken bars and cafes, and the breweries in the industrial corridors order staff tees and merch as DTF and pint-glass and growler logos as UV DTF decals (peel-and-stick, hand wash only).
Events, churches and nonprofits
Portugal Day, the Jersey City Fourth of July festival, church anniversaries, community 5Ks and nonprofit walks all need a mixed batch of shirts on a deadline. No minimum means a group of twenty-five orders twenty-five.
How to order in three steps
- Upload artwork. A transparent PNG at 300 DPI is best; JPG, SVG, PDF, PSD, AI and EPS are accepted. Arrange it in the builder or set a size and quantity; the price shows before checkout.
- Check out by 2 PM ET Monday through Friday. No proof step; we print exactly what you upload, so proofread first.
- Press when it arrives, typically 1–2 business days later in North Jersey: 315–325°F, 6–12 seconds, medium-firm pressure, hot peel.

Ship date versus delivery date
Same-day shipping means your parcel leaves our shop the day you order, provided the order is in by 2 PM ET on a business day. Delivery is the carrier's transit added on: typically 1–2 business days to Newark and Jersey City, so a Monday order is usually in hand Tuesday or Wednesday. A Friday 3 PM order ships Monday. Custom apparel and drinkware ship in 3–5 business days; embroidery in 5–7.
Pressing and care
DTF is hot peel: 315–325°F, medium-firm pressure, 6–12 seconds, peel immediately, good for 50+ washes. UV DTF applies to clean, dry, smooth hard surfaces; allow 24 hours and hand wash. See our heat press instructions.
