DTF Transfers for North Carolina, Coast to Mountains

North Carolina has three very different print markets in one state: beach towns on the coast, cities and campuses in the Piedmont, and breweries and craft shops in the mountains. Add some of the largest military communities in the country, and you get a steady mix of custom shirts, hats and drinkware all year. DTF Sirius prints DTF transfers, gang sheets and UV DTF decals with no minimums, and we ship them from the Northeast.

Shipping to North Carolina

Gang sheets and transfers ordered by 2 PM ET on a business day ship the same day, and North Carolina is on Eastern time. USPS Ground Advantage from the Northeast typically takes 2–4 business days to reach the state. That's typical, not guaranteed. Custom apparel, drinkware and gifts ship in 3–5 business days, embroidery in 5–7, and orders of $120 or more ship free with Economy shipping.

Print ideas by region

The coast: Outer Banks to Wilmington

Beach shops, surf schools, fishing charters and rental companies go through seasonal designs fast. Without minimums, a shop can try a new design on a dozen shirts in May and reorder the winners in June. UV DTF decals add peel-and-stick designs to tumblers, glass and ceramic gift items, with no heat press. Coastal towns also know hurricane season well, and relief-shirt fundraisers are a common way churches and schools raise money after a storm.

The Piedmont: Charlotte, the Triangle and the Triad

Corporate teams in Charlotte, tech and research companies around the Triangle, and university towns all order event shirts, conference swag and embroidered polos. In High Point, the furniture market in April and October brings exhibitor staff shirts and branded hats. Race weekends around Charlotte and the NC State Fair in Raleigh each October add fan, vendor and volunteer shirts.

The mountains: Asheville, Boone and the Blue Ridge

Breweries, cideries and coffee roasters brand glassware and tumblers with UV DTF and sell tees to visitors in leaf season. Apple season kicks off with the apple festival in Hendersonville over Labor Day weekend, and October foliage crowds keep gift shops busy into November.

Military communities

Fayetteville, Jacksonville, Havelock and Goldsboro are home to large Army, Marine Corps and Air Force installations. Unit shirts, family readiness group events, promotion and retirement gifts, and welcome-home shirts for returning service members are all good fits for DTF. Use artwork your unit is authorized to use, because service emblems and insignia are protected.
