Free UV DTF Cup Wrap Templates (16 oz, 20 oz, 30 oz, 40 oz)

Download free 300-DPI UV DTF cup wrap templates for a 16 oz glass can (9.33 × 4.5 in), a 20 oz skinny tumbler (9.3 × 8.2 in), a 30 oz tumbler (10.5 × 9 in) and a 40 oz handled tumbler body panel (9.3 × 5 in). Each template is a transparent PNG with a dashed outline of the wrap area and a 0.25-inch safe-margin guide, sized so that a file exported at 300 DPI prints at exactly the right dimensions. Design in Canva, Procreate or Photoshop, export a transparent PNG, and order the wrap from UV DTF Transfers by Size at about 12¢ per square inch with no minimum, or pick a pre-sized custom UV DTF cup wrap. Order by 2 PM ET Monday through Friday and it ships the same day from upstate New York; misprints are reprinted free.

16 oz glass can (beer-can glass) 9.33 × 4.5 in 2799 × 1350 16 oz glass can template (PNG)

40 oz handled tumbler (body panel) 9.3 × 5 in 2790 × 1500 40 oz tumbler body panel template (PNG)

These sizes are typical, not universal. Cups vary by brand and batch, so measure yours before you design; the how-to is on our UV DTF cup wrap size guide. If your cup measures differently, resize the canvas to your own numbers and keep 300 DPI.

What is in each template

  • A transparent canvas at the exact wrap size, 300 DPI.
  • A dark dashed outline marking the full wrap area (the cut edge of the decal).
  • A red dashed inner outline 0.25 inch inside the edge: the safe area for text and important details.
  • A small corner label with the size and DPI. Hide or delete the guide layer before you export so the lines do not print.

How to use the templates

Canva

  1. Create a design with a custom size: enter the wrap size in inches (for example 9.33 × 4.5 in) so the canvas matches the template.
  2. Upload the template PNG and drag it onto the canvas; set it to fill the page. Lock it so it stays in place.
  3. Add your artwork, keeping text inside the red safe-margin line. Leave the background empty (transparent); do not add a white background.
  4. Delete the template layer, then Share → Download → PNG, tick "Transparent background", size 1× at the canvas size. Canva Pro is required for transparent PNG export.

Procreate

  1. New canvas → Custom: width and height in inches, DPI 300 (for example 9.33 × 4.5 in at 300 DPI).
  2. Insert the template PNG as a layer (Actions → Add → Insert a file) and lower its opacity.
  3. Paint and add text on layers above it, inside the red safe margin.
  4. Hide the template layer and the background layer, then Share → PNG. Check that the checkerboard shows through where there is no art.

Photoshop (and Affinity, GIMP, Illustrator)

  1. Open the template PNG directly; it is already the right size at 300 DPI (Image → Image Size shows 9.33 × 4.5 in).
  2. Work on layers above the template. Keep text and fine lines at least 1 mm thick; UV DTF cannot hold hairline strokes.
  3. Hide the template layer, then File → Export → PNG with transparency (or Save for Web, PNG-24, transparency on).

Export checklist

  • PNG format, transparent background, 300 DPI, at the wrap size (the pixel sizes in the table).
  • Guide lines hidden or deleted. Anything visible in the file prints.
  • Not mirrored. UV DTF is applied face up, so the file reads normally.
  • Colors in RGB; we print what you upload. Pure white prints as white ink, which is useful on dark tumblers.
  • No background box behind the art unless you want it printed; UV DTF is clear outside the printed areas.

How to order the printed wrap

  1. Open UV DTF Transfers by Size and enter the wrap width and height (for example 9.33 × 4.5). The price shows before you add to cart: about $5.04 for a 16 oz wrap, $9.15 for a 20 oz skinny, $11.34 for a 30 oz panel and $5.58 for a 40 oz panel. Prefer a ready-sized option? See Custom UV DTF Cup Wraps for 16 oz, 20 oz and 40 oz.
  2. Upload your exported PNG and set the quantity. There is no minimum; orders of $120 or more ship free.
  3. Ordering several wraps or many small decals at once? Lay them out in the UV DTF Gang Sheet Builder ($2.00 per inch of a 22-inch-wide sheet). Use the gang sheet calculator to see how many fit.
  4. Check out by 2 PM ET Monday through Friday and it ships the same day with tracking. Most New York, New Jersey and New England addresses get it in 1–2 business days.
  5. Apply: wipe the cup with rubbing alcohol, peel the backing, roll the wrap on from the seam, rub it down hard, peel the clear top film slowly, and let it set 24 hours. Hand wash only. Full steps are on the cup wrap size and application guide.

Cup wrap template FAQ

Are the UV DTF cup wrap templates really free?

Yes. Download any of the four PNG templates, use them in Canva, Procreate, Photoshop or any editor that opens PNG files, and order the finished wrap from us or anyone else. No account or email is required.

What size is a 16 oz glass can wrap template?

9.33 × 4.5 inches (2799 × 1350 pixels at 300 DPI). It fits most beer-can-style glasses with a small gap at the seam; measure your glass first because brands differ by a fraction of an inch.

What size is a 20 oz skinny tumbler wrap template?

9.3 × 8.2 inches (2790 × 2460 pixels at 300 DPI) for a straight-wall skinny tumbler. Tapered tumblers need a shorter panel or an arc-shaped wrap.

What size is the 40 oz tumbler template?

9.3 × 5 inches (2790 × 1500 pixels at 300 DPI). It is a body panel for the front of a handled 40 oz tumbler, not a full wrap, because the handle mounts interrupt the wrap.

What size is the 30 oz tumbler template?

10.5 × 9 inches (3150 × 2700 pixels at 300 DPI). Most 30 oz tumblers taper, so measure the circumference at the top and bottom of the panel and shorten the design if they differ by more than about half an inch.

What do the dashed lines mean?

The outer dark dashed line is the full wrap area and the edge of the decal. The inner red dashed line is a 0.25-inch safe margin: keep text and important details inside it so nothing sits on the seam or the curve near the base. Delete both guide layers (or hide them) before you export.

Do I need a heat press for a UV DTF cup wrap?

No. UV DTF is peel-and-stick: clean the cup with rubbing alcohol, peel the backing, apply, rub it down, peel the clear top film, and let it set 24 hours. Hand wash only.

How much does a printed cup wrap cost and when does it ship?

About 12¢ per square inch on UV DTF Transfers by Size: roughly $5.04 for a 16 oz glass-can wrap, $9.15 for a 20 oz skinny wrap, $11.34 for a 30 oz panel and $5.58 for a 40 oz body panel. No minimum. Order by 2 PM ET Monday through Friday and it ships the same day from upstate New York; 1–2 business days to New York, New Jersey and New England.
