UV DTF Logo Stickers for Small Business
UV DTF logo stickers are peel-and-stick decals for jars, bottles, boxes and mugs that you apply by hand, with no heat press and no minimum order, priced by size at about 12 cents per square inch: a 2×2 in logo runs about $0.48, 3×2 about $0.72, 3×3 about $1.08 and 4×4 about $1.92. A 22×24 in UV DTF gang sheet is $48 and holds roughly 60 3×2 logos, about $0.80 each when you batch several designs onto one sheet for a product launch. Order by 2 PM ET Monday through Friday and it prints and ships the same business day from our shop in upstate New York, with typical delivery of 1–2 business days to New York, New Jersey and New England. Small brands use them on candles, skincare jars, mugs, boxes and equipment; order a single piece or a few hundred.
What Are UV DTF Logo Stickers?
UV DTF logo stickers are a printed, clear-top transfer film that goes on cold: no heat press, no iron, no curing. They are different from a printed vinyl sticker or a paper label, which are usually glued down flat and can wrinkle, fade or go soft if they get wet. Because UV DTF prints a white layer under the color, a logo with a transparent background keeps that transparent look once it is stuck down, so it reads as a clean custom logo on glass, metal or a kraft box rather than a sticker with a visible square edge. For a small business shipping candles, skincare jars or retail boxes, that distinction matters: these are waterproof logo stickers you can put on a surface that gets handled, wiped down or rinsed, not just a dry shelf label. Some brands also call them UV DTF labels, though unlike a printed paper label they peel and stick with a clear top film instead of being glued flat.
Compared with a printed vinyl sticker, UV DTF sits slightly raised off the surface with a bit of texture at the edge. Compared with a paper label, it does not absorb water or tear. The table below lines up the three side by side for custom logo decals at a typical 3×2 in size.
| Feature | UV DTF Sticker | Printed Vinyl Sticker | Paper Label |
|---|---|---|---|
| Waterproof | Yes, water-resistant for daily use | Sometimes, depends on laminate | No, softens when wet |
| Scratch resistance | Clear top film resists scuffs | Thin, scratches more easily | Low, tears and scuffs |
| Texture / raised feel | Slightly raised, you can feel the edge | Flat, printed on the surface | Flat, often matte |
| Clear background | Yes, background stays transparent | Usually a visible sticker edge | Usually a visible sticker edge |
| Minimum quantity | No minimum, order 1 | Often a print minimum | Often a print minimum |

Use Cases and Recommended Sizes
Most small-business orders fall into a handful of sizes. A 2×2 or 3×2 logo covers a lid, cap or corner mark; a 3×3 or 4×4 covers a front label on a jar or box. UV DTF for candles typically means a 2×2 to 3×3 logo on the glass, while UV DTF stickers for cups usually mean either a small corner logo or a full wrap sized to the container. Here is a quick reference for where UV DTF logo stickers are used and what size to start with.
| Use case | Recommended size | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Candle jars | 2×2 to 3×3 | Apply to the clean glass, not the wax or wick |
| Mason jars | 2×2 to 3×3 | Works on the smooth glass panel, not a textured band |
| Bottles and jars (skincare) | 2×2 to 3×2 | Works well on smooth glass, acrylic or coated plastic |
| Kraft boxes and mailers | 3×3 to 4×4 | Needs a smooth, glossy or coated kraft finish |
| Coffee bags | 2×2 to 3×3 | Glossy or laminated bags only, not matte uncoated paper |
| Tumblers | 3×2 logo or a full wrap by size | See the cup wrap size chart for full wraps |
| Laptops and equipment | 3×3 to 4×4 | Clean, smooth plastic or coated metal only |
| Storefront glass | 4×4 and up, ordered by size | Interior-facing glass, applied from the inside |
| Menu boards | 3×3 to 4×4 | Sealed or laminated board surfaces |
| Mirrors | 3×3 to 4×4 | Smooth glass only, avoid framed edges |

Surfaces That Work, and Surfaces to Skip
UV DTF logo stickers bond to clean, dry, smooth, hard surfaces: stainless steel, glass, ceramic, acrylic, coated metal, hard plastic, sealed wood, candle jars and glossy packaging or boxes. They are not made for fabric, paper, silicone, unsealed wood, or powder-coated and textured surfaces, since there is nothing smooth for the adhesive to grip. Check each surface finish before committing to a size: a matte or uncoated surface will not hold a waterproof logo sticker as well as a glossy one.
How to Order: By Size or Gang Sheet Builder
There are two ways to order, and neither has a minimum. If you need one logo in one size, use UV DTF Stickers by Size and pay only for your design's rectangle, from a 2×2 at about $0.48 up to larger panels. If you are running a product launch with several logo sizes, variations or a mix of designs, upload everything at once to a shared sheet with the UV DTF Gang Sheet Builder, or send a print-ready file with Upload UV DTF Gang Sheet. A 22×24 in sheet at $48 is a practical way to batch dozens of UV DTF custom prints into one order rather than placing many small ones. See gang sheet pricing for how sheet length and cost scale together.
Artwork Tips for Logo Stickers
- Upload a PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI, sized to the actual print dimensions.
- Keep lines and small text at least 1 mm (about 0.04 in) thick so fine details hold up at small sizes.
- White areas in your file print as white ink, so white logo elements show clearly on dark jars, boxes or tumblers.
- Thin unprinted gaps inside a design stay transparent once applied.
- We print what you upload; a real person checks every file and will email you if something looks off.
Applying UV DTF Logo Stickers
- Wipe the surface clean and dry with rubbing alcohol.
- Peel the white paper backing off the sticker.
- Place it on the surface and press from the center outward.
- Rub it down firmly with a squeegee or a card, corner to corner.
- Peel the clear top film away slowly at a low angle.
- Let it set for 24 hours before wiping or handling heavily.
Care
UV DTF logo stickers are hand wash only and are not dishwasher safe. Give a fresh application a full 24 hours to set before it gets wet or wiped down. For outdoor use, they hold up fine for everyday handling, though we do not promise multi-year outdoor durability.
Batch Workflow for Product Launches
For a product launch across several SKUs, the fastest path is usually a single gang sheet: lay out every logo size and variant you need, order one 22×24 or larger UV DTF sheet, and peel and apply stickers as inventory comes off the line. Because there is no minimum and no setup fee, you can also start with a small test batch of custom logo stickers on one or two jars before committing a full sheet to a new design. Once the logo and size are locked in, that is the usual rhythm: one sheet, many units, one print run. Either way, orders placed by 2 PM ET ship the same day, so a reorder mid-launch does not stall a packing run.
UV DTF Logo Stickers FAQ
Do I need a heat press?
No. UV DTF logo stickers are peel-and-stick, applied by hand with a squeegee or card, with no heat press or iron involved.
Is there a minimum order?
No. Order a single 2×2 logo sticker for about $0.48 or a full gang sheet, whichever fits your run.
Are UV DTF stickers waterproof?
They are water- and scratch-resistant for everyday handling and hand washing, but they are not dishwasher safe, so avoid the dishwasher and soaking.
Can I put UV DTF on a candle jar?
Yes, on the clean glass surface of the jar. Apply after the jar is filled and cooled, and keep the sticker off the wax or wick area.
Can I put UV DTF on a kraft box or mailer?
Yes, as long as the box has a smooth, glossy or coated finish. Uncoated, highly textured kraft will not hold the sticker as well.
Can I put UV DTF on a coffee bag?
Yes, on glossy or laminated coffee bags. It will not adhere well to matte, uncoated kraft paper bags.
How do I order 100 logo stickers?
Order one size 100 times through UV DTF Stickers by Size, or lay out 100 logos on one gang sheet for a single print run instead of placing 100 separate orders.
What is the smallest size I can order?
We recommend 2×2 in (about $0.48) as a practical minimum for a readable logo. Smaller sizes can be entered on the by-size page, but keep lines and text at least 1 mm thick.
Can the sticker have a clear background?
Yes. Upload a transparent PNG and only your logo prints; the background around it stays clear once applied to the jar, bottle or box.
